BMW Unveils New Electric Scooter Concept, Vision CE

Ahead of IAA Mobility 2025, BMW has unveiled the Vision CE concept. This electric scooter promises a free and comfortable ride by eliminating the need for a helmet through its cage structure and safety systems.
BMW Motorrad has announced its new Vision CE concept, which will be showcased at IAA Mobility 2025. Designed as an electric scooter, the model aims to eliminate the need for a helmet or special riding gear thanks to its integrated seat structure and protective cage system.
The front of the concept maintains traditional scooter lines, but the striking square-shaped bars that surround the rider draw attention. Slim LED headlights, additional integrated lighting on the cage, and a small windshield complete the design. Customization options such as a detachable Bluetooth speaker, a transparent roof, or a rear luggage rack are also envisioned.
The rider sits in a special seat equipped with a backrest, headrest, and seatbelt. A metal grille on top of the headrest serves as an additional safety feature. The cockpit features a large digital display, a traditional handlebar, prominent footrests, and a covered charging port.
Vision CE is Fully Electric
BMW has confirmed that the Vision CE is fully electric. The concept can keep itself upright when stopped, thanks to a self-balancing function. The brand states that this approach aims to offer users a more free, comfortable, and carefree riding experience.
